Browser Agent

Polymet

In this episode of Build Great Products, I test Browseragent.dev, a Product Hunt #1 product of the day that promises to deliver AI agents in your browser. I look at how close this can actually get to taking our jobs (spoiler alert: not very close), and give an in-depth review of the product, how it might fit into your workflow, and whether it's worth the Product Hunt #1 award...

Key lessons for your product

Lesson 1

Meet users where they already are. Connect with the tools they are using, and follow patterns that are similar to existing tools they use to better fit into their workflows and drive stronger adoption.

Lesson 2

Get users to create something valuable during onboarding. If users create something themselves they are more likely to place a higher value on it, and if you help them create something valuable, they'll come back to use it time and time again.

Lesson 3

Bridge the gap between the known and the unknown. Take the time to guide users through new concepts and ideas before expecting them to be able to confidently use them.
